Democrat Ned Lamont wins reelection for governor in Connecticut

Democrat Ned Lamont won election Tuesday as governor of Connecticut, defeating Republican Ryan Fazio. Lamont, a former cable entrepreneur, will serve a third term. Fazio is a state senator who represents a district in Connecticut’s wealthy Gold Coast. The Associated Press declared Lamont the winner at 9:17 p.m. EST.
