Burning today in three regional parks
Please be advised that controlled burning is taking place today in Coldham, Stephens Coyote Ridge and Rose Valley Regional Parks.
Open burning is allowed today across the Central Okanagan for property owners with permits from their fire authority.
All fire authorities have been advised.
Further debris pile burning will be required as conditions warrant as part of the fuel modification work underway in this and several other regional parks.
All burning of debris in Kalamoir Regional Park is now complete with yesterday’s activity by Regional Parks staff.
