PENTICTON — The 88th annual Kiwanis festival kicked off two months of performances from local youth.
The festival, which began in 1926, provides an opportunity for young performers to show their talents, and learn and grow through their respected practices.
Performances are critiqued by judges from all over Western Canada and the United States. Scholarships are awarded to eligible performers.
Events are scheduled in Penticton throughout March, April and May and tickets are available online. The event showcases amateur dancers, musicians, and singers from B.C.’s interior.
