Kelowna city council highlights: June 9, 2014

City Park water concession
Council approved a three-year licence with Kelowna Wibit for a floating concession just off the north shore of City Park. The concession will operate May 15 to Sept. 15 and offers a floating water park with a capacity of up to 60 individuals. Fees are expected to be approximately $25 per person for a one-day pass, with hours of operation from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Parking at City Hall during tax season
Council members agreed to make their reserved parking spots in the City Hall parking lot available for public use during property tax season (ending July 2). Customers will be able to park in the 24-hour reserved parking spots, for a maximum of 30 minutes, Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
