City of Vernon Public Notice: Load Restrictions

Pursuant to Section 606 of the City of Vernon Traffic Bylaw #2747, notice is hereby given that load restrictions will be in place, effective 12:01 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2014, on all roadways in the City of Vernon. All roads will be limited to legal axle loading 70 per cent.

Overweight permits will not be granted. All term overweight permits are invalid for the duration of the restrictions.

The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly. Cooperation in adhering to the above regulations is appreciated.
