Latest COVID-19 exposures reported on flights at the Kelowna International Airport
Five flights with active cases of COVID-19 used the runway at the Kelowna International Airport within the last two weeks.
Two of the cases were on Sept. 19 – Air Canada Jazz flight 8408 came from Vancouver with an active case and Air Canada Jazz flight 8415 left for Vancouver with an active case.
On Sept. 22, Air Canada Jazz flight 8414 arrived from Vancouver to Kelowna with an infected passenger.
On Sept. 24, Flair Airlines flight 447 brought a person with COVID-19 over from Edmonton.
WestJet flight 3309 took someone with COVID-19 to Vancouver, Sept. 25.
Passengers on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days.
For specific rows of the affected flights, visit the B.C. Centre for Disease Control's website. Passengers seated near a case of COVID-19 are not directly notified of their potential exposure.
