Kelowna RCMP have released an artist’s composite sketch of a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in a Kelowna park late last month.
The woman was walking in Millbridge Park at about 9 a.m. on Sept. 29 when the man approached from behind and sexually assaulted her, RCMP said in a media release. He fled when she fought back and she was not physically harmed.
RCMP describe the suspect as Caucasian male, about 35 years old, 5'10" tall, very thin with long curly black hair with a widow’s peak, a mole under his right eye and he smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.
He was wearing a black hooded sweater with the word “California” in white lettering and a picture of a bear on it, black pants and a red backpack with black and red mesh straps.
Anyone with information is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.crimestoppers.net.
