Storm tore strip out of Kelowna sports complex roof
A hockey arena in Kelowna had a large strip from its roof torn open during yesterday's storm.
The damage at the Central Sports Club in Kelowna occurred during the windstorm yesterday, Nov. 15.
The sports complex is used for ball hockey and volleyball leagues organized by Urban Rec.
League administrator Jamie Taverner said she is turning over every stone to find to find other venues to host games until the building is repaired.
It's unknown how long the facility will remain closed.
