iN VIDEO: Fire destroys Winfield Bakery in Lake Country

A popular bakery in Lake Country went up in flames last night.

Crews battled a blaze at the Winfield Bakery, 10017 Main St., last night, March 10.

Firefighters were called at around 6:21 p.m., after the business had closed for the day, and they arrived to find smoke billowing from the attic and awning, with flames coming out the bakery's front window, according to the fire chief.

No word yet on the cause of the fire that gutted the business, as the investigation continues.
