Fatal motorcycle crash on rural road near Kamloops

A motorcycle rider died after colliding with a vehicle on a rural road near Kamloops.

The accident happened on Pinantan Pritchard Road near Ojibway Road, according to a press release from the Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP.

Officers responded around 11:50 a.m. today, June 1.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is closed and police are asking the public to avoid the area while officers, along with a collision analyst and the B.C. Coroner’s Service, conduct their investigation.

Anyone who witnessed, has video, or information related to the investigation is asked to contact the Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP Detachment at 250-314-1800 and reference file 2022-18393.
