Violent wanted man could be in North Okanagan: RCMP

Vernon RCMP is asking the public for help locating a violent wanted man.

According to a Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media release, Justin Tyler Howarth, 34, is considered violent and should not be approached.

He is wanted for assault, assault with a weapon, theft, uttering threats and pointing a firearm. He is believed to be in the North Okanagan.

RCMP describe Howarth as 5'9" in height, 146 lb., with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say he should not be approached and if anyone sees him they should call their local police immediately.
