— This story was corrected at 9:25 p.m. Oct. 15, 2022, to say Brian Guy had won not Jenelle Brewer.

— This story was updated at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, to correct a City of Vernon error in reporting the number of votes for the Active Living Centre referendum. In a statement the City said, "The number of votes reported for ‘Yes’ was underreported by 100 votes. The total has been updated to reflect a vote tally of 5121 for ‘Yes’. The update does not materially change the outcome of the Active Living Centre referendum."
