Ouellette becomes first player to reach 300-point milestone in CWHL

Montreal Canadiennes forward Caroline Ouellette has become the first player to reach the 300-point milestone in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League.

The veteran of Canada’s women’s Olympic team assisted on Ann-Sophie Bettez’s power-play goal 12:49 into the first period of Montreal’s 5-3 loss to the Calgary Inferno on Sunday to earn her 300th point.

Ouellette added another assist on Lauriane Rougeau’s goal later in the game.

The Montreal native leads the league with 23 points (13 goals) through 14 games.

She has four Olympic gold medals, six world championship golds and six World silvers.
