Searching for suspects after two Kamloops thefts

KAMLOOPS – Two separate thefts earlier this fall remained unsolved and Crime Stoppers is now appealing to the public for help in identifying the suspects.

On Oct. 17, a male entered Interior Hobby and Crafts on Tranquille Road and left with a remote controlled helicopter he did not pay for.

The suspect is 5’9” with a stocky build, brown hair and wearing a blue jacket.

A suspect stole a woman’s purse at the downtown library at 465 Victoria St. on Nov. 5. The purse is described as a grey messenger bag with brown leather trim.

The male suspect is Caucasian, around 5’10” tall and in his 20s. He had short hair and appeared to walk with a limp.

If you have information on either suspects, you’re encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a web tip at kamloopscrimestoppers.ca. If your information leads to a conviction, you could be compensated with a reward.
