Kamloops area libraries to start carrying wildlife park passes

KAMLOOPS – The library is branching out once again with what can be borrowed.

The B.C. Wildlife Park is providing Thompson Nicola Regional District libraries with family passes. Starting tomorrow, June 12, family passes will be available for anyone with a regional district library card, according to a press release.

Family passes cover the admission of two adults and two kids. The library passes can be held for a week before late fees of a dollar a day are incurred.

“This partnership is a perfect fit with this year’s Summer Reading Club theme of Walk on the Wild Side,” chief librarian Judy Moore says. “The Summer Reading Club is designed to keep kids reading over the summer months, and bridge the gap between school years.”
