OLIVER – Hundreds of people gathered in Oliver this weekend to test some wines, enjoy the sun, and make a mess stomping grapes at the Festival of the Grape.
Wineries from all over the Okanagan set up to sample some of their best vintages, which were well recieved by festival attendees, judging by the comments buzzing from the crowd.
Heats of grape stomping teams pulled up their pant legs and dipped their toes into barrells of grapes, stomping and laughing away—some while dressed up as nuns, muskateers and prisoners.
Here's a look at what went down (other than wine) at the festival, Sunday.
