Body found in abandoned shed

PENTICTON – The body of a deceased male was found in an abandoned shed behind Super Save Gas in Penticton Monday.

The shed is located in a field off Green Mountain Road, on Penticton Indian Band land. RCMP say the body appeared to have been there for several days, however the death is not being ruled as suspicious.

The B.C. Coroner is investigating the death and next of kin have been notified. The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time.
