WEST KELOWNA – An elderly couple weren’t badly hurt after their SUV left Shannon Lake Road, plunged down a 10 foot embankment and ended up on it’s side.
The crash happened at about 2:15 p.m Thursday.
Const. Cory Lepine says the man and woman are in their 80s.
Lepine says they were taken to hospital by ambulance, adding their injuries are believed to be minor.
Traffic was down to a single lane for about half an hour.
