Andres Gimenez had a two-run homer and two-run single to lift the Toronto Blue Jays to an 8-2 win over the Seattle Mariners on Thursday night in the American League Championship Series.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit his second home run of the series, while George Springer and Daulton Varsho also drove in runs for the Blue Jays, who evened the best-of-seven series at 2-2.
Max Scherzer struck out five batters and allowed three hits, two runs and four walks in 5 2/3 innings in his first start of the post-season for Toronto.
