Kelowna brings free evening activities for everyone this summer

The city of Kelowna is bringing back recurring evening events for the community to participate in for free over the course of July and August at Stuart Park’s outdoor rink.

Kids roller skating during Roller Night

Roller Night will be hosted on Tuesday nights from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Whether you’re into roller skating or inline skating, the event is open to all ages and experiences. If you don’t own any skates, there will be rentals available through Roll Mates on location. Don’t forget to bring a helmet!

Dancing in the Park on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm will feature a different dance style each week. Bring a friend or go alone and try something new!  Zumba, Line Dancing, Hip-hop, and more! Open to all ages and experience.

Sunset Yoga will also be available on Wednesdays from 8 pm to 9 pm shortly after Dancing in the Park. Led by a certified instructor, enjoy watching the sunset and doing your evening stretches. Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat and to keep hydrated.

Park and Play is returning to a Park near you! Different parks scattered throughout Kelowna will have games and activities available from 5 pm to 8 pm. Fun for both friends and family. Parents are responsible for their kids and should not be left unattended.
