A two-day community market is running July 11 and August 8, bringing something a bit more unique to the downtown core. Cute as a Button Events will host a community market this Saturday. It is one of the first times that a miniature flea market will be hosted in Kerry Park. The market will have a variety of local artists, music, food, crafts, and games for kids!

“The Kelowna Downtown Saturday Community Market is all about bringing people together, supporting local businesses, and creating a fun community experience,” organizers said. “Whether you’re shopping, selling, enjoying the entertainment, or simply spending time with family and friends, there’s something for everyone.”
Kelowna usually has the Rutland Flea Market hosted by Tim Reimer on Sundays at Rutland Centennial Hall, but it won’t be running this weekend as the 2026 Okanagan Rock & Gem Show will be running on the 10, 11, and 12.

“I think what they are doing for the downtown community is fantastic. Bringing people together through the Rutland Market and creating a stronger sense of community is something that deserves recognition. It’s also great to see so many new people discovering the event. I’m looking forward to attending the Saturday Market. I think this is exactly what Kelowna needs.” Tim will be selling Vinyl at the event.

The event runs from 8 am to 2 pm on both July 11 and August 8
