TRENDING NOW: Taylor Swift wrote and directed her own 14-minute music video

Musician Taylor Swift's latest 14-minute music video is capturing the attention of online audiences.

The music video All Too Well: The Short Film,  written and directed by Taylor Swift, begins with whimsical love story featuring an average-looking couple wandering around a rural setting. They show each other affection for a few minutes while the lyrics in the song literally describe what’s happening in the video.

Then it appears as though the honeymoon’s over, because the song stops and the couple start bickering with each other about a dinner party. The lover’s quarrel lasts over two minutes before the song resumes and then the two split up.

The girlfriend is then portrayed as lonely and miserable in a montage, but after aging by 13 years having never reconnected with the man who stole her heart, she appears to be a successful author and then the story ends.

The video premiered yesterday, Nov. 12 and already has more than 14 million views.
