Privato Pumpkin Patch offers a fall outing for families in Kamloops
Pumpkin picking, autumn scenery and family activities are bringing visitors to Privato Vineyard and Winery this fall, where the annual Pumpkin Patch offers a seasonal outing for people looking to enjoy the last weeks of October.
Located in the Westsyde area of Kamloops, Privato transforms its outdoor spaces into a pumpkin-filled destination where visitors can explore the patch, choose a pumpkin to take home and capture photographs among the fall colours.
The attraction is designed for more than just young children, with visitors able to walk through the patch and gardens, take photos and enjoy the fall scenery before winter arrives.
One of the activities available is a pumpkin-carving station, where visitors can create their own seasonal designs. The hands-on activity gives families another way to enjoy their visit, particularly for those who want to do more than select a pumpkin and leave.
Admission options are available for individuals and families. A family pass costs $28 and covers two adults and up to four children under 19, with two pumpkins included. Children also receive complimentary hot chocolate with the family pass.
Adults aged 19 and older can choose between a $15 pass that includes one pumpkin or a $10 admission-only pass. Visitors are encouraged to purchase their passes online in advance, although passes can also be bought at the gate upon arrival.

The pumpkin patch is part of Privato’s wider vineyard experience. After exploring the outdoor area, visitors can also choose to enjoy a wine tasting or visit the on-site bistro overlooking the vineyard, subject to the venue’s availability and applicable age requirements.
Privato’s Pumpkin Patch runs until Sunday, November 1. The venue is located at 5505 Westsyde Rd. in Kamloops. Opening hours are Fridays from 4 pm to 8 pm, and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11 am to 5 pm.
