Vernon RCMP seek rightful owner of professional photography equipment

VERNON – A box of photography equipment is the latest in a string of items the Vernon RCMP is hoping to reunite with its rightful owner.

Vernon RCMP recovered a black plastic box of professional style photography equipment on Jan. 5, 2016, Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy said. The equipment is believed to have been stolen.

“Police have not been able to locate the rightful owner of the equipment, and are asking for the public's assistance,” Noseworthy said.

In November 2015, police asked for the public’s help finding the owners of an iPod containing thousands of photos, and earlier this week, they appealed to the public in search of the owner of a duffle bag containing hockey cards.

Anyone with information regarding the photography equipment is asked to call the Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP at (250) 545-7171, or CrimeStoppers at 1(800) 222-8477.
