Casino New Brunswick being sold to Great Canadian Gaming for $95 million

MONCTON, N.B. – Casino New Brunswick is being sold for $95 million to Great Canadian Gaming Corp. of Vancouver.

The deal includes the casino, hotel and a multi-use entertainment and convention centre in Moncton, N.B.

Great Canadian Gaming says it looks forward to welcoming the operation’s 400-plus employees into its fold.

It also says it will work with the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corp., the provincial government and City of Moncton.

Great Canadian Gaming (TSX:GC) is buying the casino operation from a partnership headed by Sonco.
