The body of a missing 81-year-old Penticton woman was found in Skaha Lake Saturday morning.
Olivene Bourke went missing last Wednesday and was reported being spotted near Skaha Lake Road and Channel Parkway.
Sgt. Rick Dellebuur said police found some of her personal effects on Skaha Lake shore. RCMP divers were called in and spent Friday and Saturday morning searching the water for her.
No foul play is suspected and the investigation has been turned over to the B.C. Coroners Service.
Before she was reported missing last Wednesday witnesses stated she got off a transit bus near Cherry Lane Mall. Police said she was depressed.
