LUMBY – A man who died when his truck went into the Shuswap River June 14 has been identified by the B.C. Coroner.
He was Kenneth Greg Fisher, 69, from Lumby.
The river was running high a the time and was very turbulent, so recovery was delayed. A dive team was sent into the water July 31 when levels receded and Fisher and his truck were taken out of the river.
Fisher's family have been notified of his death. The RCMP and B.C. Coroners Service continue to investigate his death.
