Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Up 36 cents, or 15 per cent, to $2.76 on 11.7 million shares.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 14 cents, or 5.15 per cent, to $2.58 on 11.3 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Unchanged at $1.09 on 8.9 million shares.
Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:COS). Oil and gas. Up 40 cents, or 4.80 per cent, to $8.73 on 8.6 million shares.
Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Down six cents, or 1.12 per cent, to $5.29 on 7.6 million shares.

Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX). Miner. Up 26 cents, or 2.18 per cent, to $12.16 on 5.6 million shares. The company says it will be writing down the value of its stalled Pascua-Lama mining project on the border of Chile and Argentina and its Pueblo Viejo gold operation in Dominican Republic by a total of between US$1 billion and and US$1.2 billion.
