VANCOUVER – Vancouver Canucks forward Ryan Kesler has a broken right foot and could be sidelined for up to six weeks.
Canucks coach Alain Vigneault told reporters the fracture showed up on a CT scan this morning.
“I assume Kesler will be out for a little while,” Vigneault said.
Kesler did not practise with the Canucks today and was seen wearing an air cast.
Kesler has played just seven games this season after he took longer than expected to recuperate from off-season shoulder surgery.
He had a goal and four assists centring the Canucks’ second line.
