CALGARY – Three-time Olympic gold medallist Kim St. Pierre has retired from the Canadian women’s hockey team.
The 34-year-old goaltender from Chateauguay, Que., won Olympic gold in 2002, 2006 and 2010.
St. Pierre posted a career 64-10 record, including 29 career shutouts.
She took the 2011-’12 season off to have a baby boy.
St. Pierre last played for Canada at the 2011 world championship.
