Teen survives multiple gunshot wounds after targeted Burnaby attack

BURNABY, B.C. – A 19-year-old man is recovering from several gunshot wounds suffered in a targeted shooting in Burnaby, B.C.

RCMP say the attack happened just after 1 a.m. Wednesday in central Burnaby, not far from the Sperling SkyTrain station on the Lougheed Highway.

The victim is known to police but investigators haven’t said if he has any gang connections.

There’s also no word on a motive for the shooting.

No arrests have been made are officers aren’t commenting on possible suspects. (CKNW)
