Two men in hospital after shootout on Surrey, B.C., street, say RCMP

SURREY, B.C. – Police say two men have been admitted to hospital with apparent bullet wounds after an exchange of gunfire between two vehicles on a Surrey, B.C., street.

The incident occurred this afternoon in a residential area of the Vancouver suburb, but police say by the time they arrived the vehicles were gone.

Police say two men later turned up at a hospital with apparent gunshots wounds — one suffering from minor injuries and the other in critical condition.

No names have been released, but police say it appears to have been a targeted shooting.

They’re looking for a gold-coloured car and a dark-coloured minivan.
