Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Salmon Arm Saturday evening.
Officers were called to a report of shooting at around 5:21 p.m., Aug. 8, in the 300 block of Fraser Avenue NW, according to an RCMP media release.
A man had been shot and he made his way to a nearby business to get help. His injuries were non-life-threatening and he was taken to hospital.
A white pickup was seen fleeing the area and was later located at a Sicamous home which was contained by RCMP.
The heavily-armed Emergency Response Team and a police dog entered the home and arrested three suspects.
RCMP aren’t saying what the motive was for the shooting.
“While arrests have been made, the investigation remains ongoing and further details cannot be released at this time,” Salmon Arm RCMP Staff Sgt. Simon Scott said in the release.
