KAMLOOPS – As of Monday, Aug. 21, the exterior demolition of the Daily News building on the corner of 4 Avenue and Seymour Street will get underway meaning the project start impacting traffic in the area.

No right turns will be allowed off Seymour Street and parking will no longer be available on the south side of the road between 3 Avenue and 4 Avenue. Parking will also be unavailable on the west side of 4 Avenue between Seymour Street and St. Paul Street.

The sidewalks that surround the demolition site will be closed down and the bus stop that is normally on 4 Avenue be moved down the road to the south.

The closures are expected to last until early October.
