Fan fails to win $1-million dream home at Toronto FC match but still makes $10,000

TORONTO – Ryan Jantzi failed in his bid to win a $1-million home Saturday at a Toronto FC game,

The 29-year-old pastor from Clinton, Ont., was the finalist in the the “Million Dollar Real Estate Dream Shot” contest sponsored by Titan Equity Group.

It was a tough ask.

Jantzi had to score from the centre line at BMo Field into a goal opening that looked only slightly larger than a Frisbee. His shot just trickled into the penalty box.

For his effort, he got a cheque for $10,000.

Jantzi was one of 20 chosen from more than 4,500 contest entrants and advanced to the final after defeating two others last weekend at a halftime longest kick competition.
