Kanye West tour postponed in three cities due to damaged set gear

VANCOUVER – Rap music sensation Kanye West’s North American concert tour has been put off in three cities.

Canucks Sports and Entertainment says in a written statement that a truck carrying The Yeezus Tour’s video truss and massive LED screen was involved in an accident yesterday, and the gear was damaged beyond repair.

The statement says the equipment is crucial to the staging of the concert tour, and it would be impossible to put on the show without it.

It also says West refuses to perform the show without its original vision and set design, so the tour has been postponed until the gear can be remade.

West was also scheduled to perform at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena last Sunday, but the show was postponed due to what Rogers Arena said was unforeseen circumstances.

Tonight’s show, as well as shows in Denver and Minneapolis have been postponed, but no further details have been released.
