
Police investigating after woman treated for gunshot wound at Penticton Regional Hospital
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are investigating possible foul play after a woman was treated in hospital for a gunshot wound last week.
Police media spokesperson Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said in a brief release issued this morning, Feb. 26, a 29-year-old woman was admitted to Penticton Regional Hospital shortly before midnight on Thursday, Feb. 22, seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
Police are releasing few details at this time, other than to say the investigation is ongoing.
Police believe the incident to be an isolated targeted event.
