Kasugai Gardens closing for winter

Kasugai Gardens will close its big wooden doors for the winter on Nov. 1. It is expected to reopen in March.

Kasugai Gardens are located off Queensway, just east of City Hall.

The gardens were completed in 1987 to symbolize the friendship between Kelowna and Kasugai, Japan, sister cities since 1981.

Throughout its open season, the tranquil gardens are enjoyed by tourists and residents.
