Kelowna RCMP seek witnesses after mom with stroller hit by car
KELOWNA – An early morning hit-and-run involving a mom pushing a stroller with two kids inside is under investigation, Kelowna Mounties say.
A report around 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 26 of a collision between a pedestrian and a car sent Kelowna RCMP to the intersection of Gerstmar Road and Elwyn Road in Kelowna, media relations officer Cpl. Tania Carroll said in a press release.
The stroller with a three- and five-year-old inside was not hit but the woman says she was knocked down and received numerous injuries, police say.
Police hope the public will help them find a new blue four-door sedan, which may have damage or marks on the left front passenger side.
People who live in the area or were driving through with dashcams or security cameras to review footage if they might have captured footage of this incident.
