Canadiens coach Therrien moves forward Vanek to fourth line at practice

BROSSARD, Que. – Embattled Montreal Canadiens forward Thomas Vanek found himself on the fourth line today at practice.

Coach Michel Therrien did some line shuffling ahead of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final on Thursday night in New York.

Vanek skated with centre Daniel Briere and right-winger Brandon Prust, a unit that usually gets limited ice time.

He had been skating with centre Tomas Plekanec, who now has Alex Galchenyuk and Brian Gionta on his wings.

Vanek has taken heat from fans and media for listless play as the Canadiens fell behind 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.

The Canadiens were to leave in the afternoon for New York.
