Kamloops man recovering after getting shot in the face, RCMP investigating

KAMLOOPS, B.C. – A man from Kamloops is recovering in hospital after getting shot in the face.

RCMP found the 23-year-old man on the front step of a home after officers received a report of a person covered in blood.

Mounties arrested four people inside a nearby house where police believe the man was shot.

Doctors determined the man had been shot in the left cheek, and physicians found a bullet lodged near his spine.

The victim is not co-operating with police and his injuries to not appear to be life-threatening.

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward. (CFJC)
