Pair of flights to Kelowna and Kamloops report COVID-19 cases

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control is reporting cases of COVID-19 on a pair of flights to the southern Interior about a week ago, including a flight that landed in Kelowna and one that landed in Kamloops. 

There were potential exposures on Flair flight 8187 from Edmonton to Kelowna, Nov. 9, affecting rows 11 to 17.

Additionally, there was potential exposures on WestJet flight 3111 from Calgary to Kamloops, Nov. 7, affecting rows one to six.

Travel outside of Canada is still not recommended at this time by public health officials. All passengers who have travelled outside of Canada are required to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days upon their arrival.

Passengers on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days.
