Well-known Kelowna diner to be featured on Food Network Canada

A popular Kelowna diner will be featured on Food Network Canada in the new year.

Sunny’s – A Modern Diner, located at 235 Bernard Ave., recently announced it will be featured on the series Big Food Bucket List.

The episode will air Feb. 20 at 8 p.m., according to the diner in a Facebook post.

For the show’s second season, host John Catucci from You Gotta Eat Here! will take viewers on a brand new food adventure across North America as he checks buzz-worthy, crazy, delicious food off his bucket list, according to the show’s website. In each episode, Catucci visits the restaurants behind these must-eat meals and hits up the kitchen to learn how the chefs make their creations.

The show can be streamed through STACKTV with Amazon Prime Video Channels or with the Global TV app.

"A big thanks to Food Network Canada for joining us here in Kelowna and to our ‘dog pack’ for their support,” Sunny’s posted on Facebook.

Audrey Surrao and Chef Rod Butters opened the diner opened in 2018. They also own micro bar • bites, The Okanagan Table and Raudz Regional Table.
