Oakland pitcher Bartolo Colon suspended 50 games for positive test

OAKLAND, Calif. – Former AL Cy Young Award winner Bartolo Colon of the Oakland Athletics has been suspended for 50 games after testing positive for testosterone.

Major League Baseball made the announcement Wednesday, one week after all-star game MVP Melky Cabrera of San Francisco was suspended 50 games for a positive test for the same substance.
