Quebec cop arrested for allegedly leaking information to the Mob: report
SHERBROOKE, Que. – There’s a report that a police officer in Quebec has been arrested for allegedly leaking sensitive information to members of organized crime.
Radio-Canada says the Sherbrooke officer was arrested today by members of the local force.
The CBC’s French-language network says the officer has about 15 years experience.
Sherbrooke police would not immediately comment on the case but a statement is expected later today.
