Canadian Press NewsAlert:BlackBerry seeks official probe of analyst report

WATERLOO, Ont. – BlackBerry (TSX:BB) says it will file a formal complaint with Canadian and U.S. authorities about a “false and misleading” analyst report that the BlackBerry Z10 touchscreen devices are being returned in unusually high nimbers. The Canadian company and U.S. carrier Verizon Wireless are disputing the report. BlackBerry claims that it and its shareholders have been harmed and it will call for an immediate investigation by authorities.
