Home of Senators changes name from Scotiabank Place to Canadian Tire Centre
OTTAWA – The home of the Ottawa Senators has a new name.
Scotiabank Place has been renamed the Canadian Tire Centre, with a long-term agreement taking effect July 1.
The named was announced at a morning news conference.
Signage at the 19,153-seat arena will be in place for the start of the 2013-14 National Hockey League season.
