DALLAS – Alex Chiasson and Jamie Benn each scored two goals to lead the Dallas Stars to a 5-1 victory over the Calgary Flames on Thursday night.
The game was tied 1-1 when Chiasson took a pass from Ray Whitney and shot the puck into the upper right corner over Calgary goalie Karri Ramo at 11:11 of the second period.
At first, the shot was ruled no goal, but a review showed that the puck reached the net before bouncing out.
In the next 1:01, Benn and Brenden Dillon added goals to put Dallas on top 4-1.
Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen returned after missing five games on injured reserve because of a leg injury. Dallas (4-5) lost four of those five games.
Lehtonen made 28 saves against Calgary. Lee Stempniak scored a second-period goal for the Flames (4-4-2).
