Kane rejoins lineup as Winnipeg Jets head to California to play Ducks, Sharks

WINNIPEG – Evander Kane is back in the Winnipeg Jets’ lineup.

The left-winger has been out since Jan. 7 when he suffered a hand injury in a fight during Winnipeg’s 4-2 road loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

But Kane will play in Winnipeg’s upcoming road games against the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks.

Kane missed four games, including the last three wins under new head coach Paul Maurice.

Kane’s father will also be on the trip, along with other dads as the team hosts a father-son trip.

Maurice says Kane will skate on a line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler.

Although he’s missed 12 games due to injury this season, Kane still has 14 goals and 11 assists.
