Salmon Arm cops look for three suspects in home invasion homicide

Police are asking for the public’s help to find three suspects in a home invasion that left someone dead in Salmon Arm.

Around 3 a.m. on July 17 two men and one woman broke into a home in the 100-block of 4 Street SE, according to a press release from police.

During the break-in there was an altercation and one resident was shot and later died from the injury.

Police think the suspects left in a black Chrysler 300 sedan with three matching wheels, a solid steel wheel on the rear passenger side and a sunroof.

The vehicle was found torched at 6:35 p.m. in the Glenemma Trailhead parking lot in the Kelly Mountain Recreation Site accessed via Yankee Flats Road and Mctavish Road.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone who might have information or dash camera footage of the vehicle has been asked to contact Salmon Arm RCMP.

Anyone who sees the suspects should not approach and call 911 immediately.
